2009 Conference of Delegates

Change is an important part of progress. The Conference is progressing. Our meetings this year will feature our own location, our own registration, our own MCLE (hosted by our MCLE partners), and our own 75th Anniversary Celebration.

2009 CONFERENCE OF DELEGATES

Register

We are not yet live on registration but expect to be in the next 10 days. Registration can be found here. Price structure will be:

  • The Works (Conference, all MCLE and Gala): $300 (increases to $350 2 weeks before event)
  • Conference Only: $195 (increases to $250 2 weeks before event)
  • MCLE Programs (two 2-hour programs), $25/hour, $50/program, $100 for both (increases to $35/$70/$140 2 weeks before event)
  • 75th Anniversary Gala Event (Friday, September 11, 2009 at about 8 p.m.): $75 (increases to $100 2 weeks before event)

Registration options will be by credit card or check. As soon as registration is live we will notify all delegation chairs and staff support.

Room

Our block has filled up more than once for Thursday, September 10 resulting in a room block “unavailable” response. There are currently rooms in our block available for Thursday September 10, Friday September 11 and Saturday September 12. If you have any problems, please contact ExecDir@cdcba.org or Admin@cdcba.org and we will attempt to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Change

We are changing our name. We are changing our tagline. We are changing our logo. We will still host the annual Conference of Delegates. Most of our programs will remain unchanged. We're just doing a little updating.

We'll be migrating to a new site: www.calconference.org. When the new site is live, you'll be forwarded there from cdcba.org.

For those of you who were unable to attend the 2009 Pfeiffer Dinner honoring Danette Meyers and the Bar Leaders MCLE program which preceded the dinner, we're sorry you missed this wonderful event. For those of you who were in attendance, thank you and we sincerely hope you had a terrific time!
