Serving Justice By Improving the Law

Conference of California Bar Associations

2009 Conference of Delegates

75th Anniversary Celebration

This year, the Conference is celebrating its 75th Anniversary: 75 years of lawyers serving justice by improving the law.

During the Conference, and at the Friday evening Gala, we want to honor those who have made the Conference a viable and vibrant voice in California jurisprudence: our delegates. To do this, we need your help. Please send us the names of Delegates who have participated at 25 or more Conferences. Also, if you have historical pictures (e.g., pictures of your delegations hard at work, or in their hospitality suites, or photos of the Conference in action), we need those too. We’d love pictures going back as far as you can find them, but more recent one are great too. Let us know what you have and what arrangements can be made to duplicate or borrow those parts of Conference History.

Be sure to encourage your Honorees to be present and participate in both the 2009 Conference and the Gala.

Conference Registration

Now is the time to register for the 2009 Conference of Delegates. You can register as a Delegate; you can register for either or both MCLE programs. You can register for the Gala. You can pay by check or by credit card. You don’t want to miss any of the fun! Have you already registered but forgot to sign up for the MCLE or Gala? There’s still time to get in on all the action! Registration is found here. Remember that registration for the State Bar Annual Meeting and the Conference of Delegates are completely separate this year.

Late Filed Resolutions

We’ve received two late filed resolutions. One was included with the original resolution posting, but has been updated to include a counter argument. The other (LF-02-2009) has only just been posted. Be sure to have a look at all the resolutions by going to

Conference Committees
